We are counting down to cricket week, looking forward to the first game on 4th July. If you havent added your name to the selection sheet in the bar be quick as they are getting pretty full!
We were formed in 1857 and field 2 adult teams on a Saturday and one on a Sunday. We have had international superstars playing at our picturesque ground such as Richie Richardson, Marvan Attapatu, Azhar Mahmood, famous racing drivers such as Graham Hill and Jackie hill and even Piers Morgan!!
We have a thriving Tots and Colts section, ranging in age from 4 to 14. We are entering a team in the Kent Cricket Board U9's, U11's and U13’s Cricket leagues. This year cricketers will be working their way through the Kwick Cricket Bronze, Silver and Gold badges. We are always keen to welcome new juniors to our club, boys & girls, beginners or experienced!
Tell your friends to pop down to the ground and watch a game of cricket in the sun (if we ever get any this year!).
We have a thriving social events calendar this season so watch our calendar for future social nights
Oh and don't forget to either come along to watch or better still join the club and play in our cricket week this year with games on all days from July 5th to July 9th, who knows you may end up playing against Dominic Cork or Mark Ramprakash!
